Alright its been a while since i posted any tunes so i thought i will post a new Track. Its a big tune from Kymani Marley and it should give inspiration to all you hustlers out there on the daily grind. Enjoy!
Well With the WSOP here and so much going on in the world of poker i though id post something that is relative to the game. I was listening to my Iron Flag CD the other day and i relived this song, Back In The Game, on the track GZA drops a hektik verse that is all about cards, i hadn’t heard the track in a while and when GZA started spitting i was completely blown away. If you play poker or any type of cards for that matter, I’m sure you will be very impressed with GZA’s performance. There is no actual video to the track, but you can go download the song from Limewire or you can listen to it below, GZA comes in third and provides an absolute gem. Check It Out!
Wu Tang Clan – Back In The Game
I haven’t posted much hip hop tracks on the site yet and since the majority of the tunes i listen to are mainly from the rap and hip hop genre i think its time to drop some real hip hop gangsta shit. I don’t know what has caused the extensive delay, maybe its because of all the poker i have been playing lately, speaking of which, i am returning from a very nice session at the casino tonight in which i managed to hustle about $600. The big highlight of the night was getting my first ever straight flush, although i didn’t make a killing of the hand it was still a great feeling to make one the best possible hands in Hold Em. Heres how the hand was played out:
I was UTG and raised to $12 with 2 red fours, i get 3 callers and the flop comes 2,3,5 all hearts. Now i am holding 44 with the 4 of hearts so i have an open ended straight flush draw, the pot is around $50 and i bet $45, one player calls and the turn brings another 4 giving me a set of fours. I move all in for my remaining $55 and my opponent calls, the river was a 6 of hearts and i made my straight flush. I took down a pot worth over $200 and received handshakes and great comments from all round the table, it was hektik. Mind you my opponent wasn’t too happy he had the ace of hearts giving him the nut flush, he was burning.
Anyways back to the topic of music, i am posting some old school tracks from Raekwon, if you grew up listening to real hip hop then you are going to love these tracks, they will take you back to the good old days when rap was actually worth listening to.
Track 1 – Raekwon – Live From New York
Track 2 – Raekwon – Incarcerated Scarfaces
I have been playing alot of poker lately, live cash games at Star City Casino, Sit-N-Gos at a local poker room, and when i finally make it home in the early hours of the morning after a long days hustle i put in some extra work on Ultimate Bet and play sum more poker online.
Aside from all the time spent at the poker table i am also very busy working on this site and doing other personal stuff. Amongst all this havoc in my life i find it very difficult to sleep and I think i am becoming an insomniac as i feel the need to constantly keep myself busy and doing something all the time. Even right now as i am writing this post i cannot sleep, it is 7:50 am and i have been awake since 11am yesterday, i don’t know what it is but i constantly feel the need to move forward and be doing something all the time.
Anyways i stumbled upon this track by RZA the other day and i can totally relate to the song at this point in my life so i decided to post it up. It is a Hektik track and the beat is not something you would’ve heard from RZA in the past, its not your average RZA Track so don’t be surprised if you start boppin your head to the beat. I hope you enjoy the tune!
Rza – Insomnia

You’re Gonna Leave – Stephen Marley
Its time to post some new tunes. You will realize from the music posted on this blog that I listen to a lot of different types of music and for some of you the music i post here will be completely new. You probably would’ve never heard it before. I don’t listen to that mainstream commercial garbage you hear all over the radio, MTV and shit like that, I don’t understand how people can listen to the same garbage over and over again, theres no meaning at all.
Anyways Quality music is very rare and hard to find these days, so on this site i am going to do you a favour and only post quality music from quality artists. I’m guessing most of you wont like my tunes because you’ve been hypnotized by the commercial bullshit, but some of you will absolutely love it, because u don’t hear this shit on the radio.
For now i am going to post a bit of Reggae, A great song from Damian Marley with a Bangin Beat.
Damian Marley – Stand A Chance
Music, its probably one of the best things invented and when it comes to playing online poker I just have to have some tunes playing in the background otherwise i lose the plot. In live games i usually don’t use the ipod as there is plenty of socializing and reading of opponents to be done at the table, however if i am playing a long tournament which goes for a long time i will bring the ipod along. Anyhow my point is that poker and music go hand in hand and from now on i will be posting some great music videos each week that should keep you entertained, busy, and focused while your playing online poker, i hope you enjoy the music and maybe you will reap some profits while listening to it, I’m sure the win will be that much sweater while listening to your favorite tunes.
Now this is my first post, so i will start things of by posting a true classic from one of the best rappers to ever touch the mic.
Soon As I get Home – Tupac Shakur
Enjoy!!
